Pleasantly surprised at the look and quality. Quite heavy and substantial. Blade is chromed metal, but a little but flimsy - not solid like a real sword, but as a costume sword this is of the highest quality/look fro the price. It is absolutely perfect for game of thrones costume, but probably not suitable if you actually want to have a sword fight with someone as the blade is not "solid" as a real sword.
