I was thrilled after buying this awesome art set and honestly could not wait till it got here. Once it did arrive however, I was very upset. I've never been so upset after opening up a package. The charcoal pencils were snapped in three. Nothing was in its place and I was absolutely angry, (the charcoal pencils were A big reason that I bought it) to find that a few had broke was very devastating! Especially after paying that much and waiting a week for it! Cmon! The quality is pretty good, (not amazing) and there's quite a bit of variety! So it wasn't all bad ? I guess the shipping was a bit too rough for my taste, the product was good yet in bad condition and everywhere. So four stars but messy!Relatively good quality drawing materials. Was somewhat disappointed that almost all of the charcoal was broken, but I suppose it is not a huge deal. The only real complaint that I have is that the box that I received was not of great quality. The stain/color on the box was not done very well, and there were a lot of imperfections where one could get splinters. I did not see this mentioned in any reviews i read prior to my purchase, so I suppose this could be a one-off situation.Bought this set for a friend for Christmas. The box and carrying case is beautiful. However, while opening the box to check the contents, some of the pencil tips and other writing utensils are broken. Though it's not a problem after you sharpen them the first time, it did have me taking off one star for the initial opening of the product.It was missing ONE shaded pencil (middle board). The brown box looks kind of used, but the supplies are untouched. I ordered this for my little brother (as a christmas gift) who wishes to become an artist. The unwooded colored pencils are chipped. Not all, just a few (4). The supplies are scattered around so you'd have to hunt them down in the box and tape them so they can be repackaged (if it's for a christmas present). If I didn't have one pencil missing and the colored pencils (unwooded) weren't chipped, i'd give it 5 stars!Epic piece of merchandise. Bought this for my son for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it. It came with everything described in the details. The package was well insulated and the product arrived in mint condition. The insides shook up and got disorganized the first time he picked it up, but it was a simple matter to put everything back where it belonged. He's been spending hours with this every day. A great buy at a great priceI read a lot of reviews before purchasing this set for my son who likes to draw. I decided to give it a shot. It arrived in perfect condition, no damage to the box, all the pencils were taped down and covered with packing material to keep them safe, No breakage no rattling in mint condition. LOVE! Very happy with this purchase!It's a pretty nice set! I got it for my girlfriend and she loves it! HOWEVER... shop around! Right after I gave it to her... I literally saw the exact same product at a local retail store, for $30... so disappointed.When I received the item there was two screws missing so I couldn’t open it without it falling apart. I had to go to Home Depot to buy some screws and get my boyfriend to fix it. The quality of the material is nice but disappointed in the quality of the box itself. I bought this as a gift for my little sister, so luckily I had someone to fix these problems.I've waited 7 weeks for this set to arrive, and today got a bill from Parcel Force for £20 in Import VAT and "Clearance Fee" ( whatever that is) before they will deliver the box.I've been promised a refund on the import tax I've had to pay. This is very gracious of Amazon and the seller, since whilst being very annoying, it is out of their hands. So my review goes up to 3 stars. It does look great AND value for money.Okay now it has arrived I think I know why I had to pay duty on the item - the customs declaration stickers CN23 were IN the package still on their backing, not stuck on the outside of the package.I haven't had a chance to use the set yet, but it does seem comprehensive. The woodless pencils and woodless coloured pencils seem particularly snazzy!I do have some minor niggles with the box. It would be nice to have some sort of lock to hold the box in an open position, it did shut on my fingers the very first time I examined it, and it doesn't seem to open further than 90 degress which means it is difficult to examine/remove items easily. In fact I think I've damaged the box by trying to open it too far.I'll post again when I've used it at the weekend.We brought this for our son who loves to draw. unfortunately it arrived with the case broken, one of the hinge screws has been torn out and we were unable to screw it back in. The contents of the set are fantastic but are badly let down by the very cheap case that was rough and chiped all over, also the pencils are placed in cheap plastic trays when they would be far better suited in something of a better quality. overall a nice set let down by the chipped and broken case and plastic pencil trays you would see in a pound shop.I bought this product for my eldest Christmas 2015 and it was brilliant. I bought two this Christmas (2016) for my twins and had to send both back. Pencils inside were broken, lots rolling around loose and the outside of the box had scratch marks, the laminate was bubbled and the corners chipped. Sent them both back and bought a different brandTHE QUALITY OF THIS ITEM IS AMAZING AND A PERFECT GIFT FOR BIRTHDAY OR CHRISTMAS L WILLIAMSWas delivered promptly purchased for my son appears to be good quality this set is good for beginners and advanced good value for money
