I didn’t realize these scissors were going to be so heavy. I found them difficult to use.Sharp cut.. but super heavy. These don’t feel that nice in your hand and are rusty feeling, and will have some nicks on the blades, but for the price and the size it’s pretty nice.I purchased these scissors after seeing 4+ star rating. When they arrived, they appeared used. They work to cut thin fabric, but anything thick or multiple layers, the blades slipped over each other, twisting the fabric and not cutting. Very disappointed. I will be returning them.Well madeGreat Caesar's ghost! These things are ginormous! Separate the scissors and you've got two small swords! My wife just took a look at the picture and ordered them, not knowing that they're probably illegal in some countries. Good thing we're in Texas. The markings on them say they were made in Pakistan, they look like they were Precision ground by hand, and I can vouch for the fact that they are extremely sharp and the quality is top-notch. It doesn't look like the steel was hardened so I don't know what kind of edge they will keep, but for $13, these scissors are a great deal. Clearly I won't be using these to trim any hair. I'll be keeping these bad boys in a gun safe. These are HUGE! Large scissors are 12" total length. Cutting edge is just over 5 1/2". Weigh 1 lb. Great for big hands.Purchased as a prop for rope cutting tricks. Polished surface can be seen from far away.Very sharp. If cutting anything but fabric or thin paper (such as rope), be sure to use cutting edge closest to the handles for best results.Tip is pointy but blunt enough for using in performances. Would not use with volunteers. The only thing I may change is the nut for the pivot screw. If I find it loosens over time, I may replace with a nut with nylon threads.Great shears, heavy duty and well built. I highly recommend.Based on the positive reviews, I decided to purchase these scissors for my wife and when theyarrived I was very disappointed with the quality, the handles were rough, the blades were unevenand it looks somehow different from the picture and it is unbranded.Anyway, I decided to return it even if I had to pay for shipping because I can't stand a bad item. This is just a warning to future customers. These scissors cut through fabric like thin air. They're solid, and quite heavy, and very large. I wish they were angled more to facilitate cutting but for the price I'm pretty happy with the quality. I wouldn't recommend these if you have arthritis or other joint pains as they're quite cumbersome. They probably weigh about two pounds. The long blades are good for avoiding small, uneven chops. I've been using them for a couple of months now and they're still sharp. They will even cut vinyl and leather without issue.I received my replacement and both of the scissors I received were bent inward at the tip. The first pair had little chips in it from where the scissors joined together when being closed. All the scissors I have ever used in my life cut smooth right to the tip, these ones do not close. I am not going to bother returning the second pair but I cannot use them for my intended purpose and will be buying a different pair. Perhaps they are supposed to be like that to cause tension.J’ai rapidement découpé des formes dans du tissu et découpé des manches de cache-couche. I use this Scissors occasionally to cut cloth. Now when I needed it for making cloth masks, it would not cut the cloth, rather it would chew off at the middle of the length. It would cut the paper fine but not the cloth. Can not even return it now. May be Kids will be use it for the paper project.
